Light, Water & Geometry

An architectural visualization exploring the principles of Brutalist architecture, with a focus on raw geometry, monumental forms, heavy structures, and the relationship between architecture and nature.

The project was inspired by an architectural image I found on Pinterest, which I used as a starting point and visual reference. I made several modifications to the original design, proportions, composition, and environment to create my own interpretation.

The architectural structure was modeled in Autodesk Maya and developed in Unreal Engine 5, where I worked on the materials, environment, vegetation, lighting, and final presentation.

I wanted to emphasize the characteristic qualities of Brutalism: bold geometric shapes, exposed surfaces, strong contrasts, and a sense of permanence and mass. The integrated vegetation and pool introduce softer organic elements that contrast with the rigid architectural forms.
